IP is part of the cultural industry. Its rise comes from consumers' pursuit of spiritual culture after material satisfaction. Its successful construction must be driven by high-quality content. As an important type of content-bearing entity,IP image should form a more complete aesthetic expression from concept to reality, and provide a more beautiful life and consumption experience for the consumers. This article introduces the naive style, trying to explore its artistic aesthetic value and its impact and inspiration on IP image design. The naive style has a long history, from the primitive period to modem times and in contemporary art and design, its vibrant artistic aesthetic connotation and form expression have more or less influenced the creation of many artists.Even in the IP image design,we can see the trace of "naive".At present,Chinese IP industry is in the initial stage of rapid development, and the influx of large amounts of funds has led to uneven quality of IP works to a certain extent. This article re-examines the current development status of the IP industry with the perspective of childlike truth, kindness and beauty in the naive style, and thinks about how the designer will calmly review the essence of design from a new perspective when business and capital are flooded in.The creativity and artistic expression contained in the naive style not only inspires outstanding artists in the past, but also extends in the design of IP images, and still has a hint to its future development. This paper takes naive style and IP image as the research object, based on the rise and development of naive style and its artistic aesthetic characteristics, explores its application performance and value in IP image design, and gives suggestions for the development of IP image design.Based on the above exploration, the author tried to actively promote the effective combination of naive style and IP image design.
