A Practice Report On The Chinese Translation Of "Rock Blasting"

Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,China has built many mineral bases based on the rapid development of mining technology,and has achieved outstanding geological exploration results.As a result,as many as 300 towns have grown up.The mining industry is the mainstay of China’s national economic development,of which rock blasting is the main means of mineral mining.China’s rock blasting technology is developing in the direction of mechanization and digitization.Under this background,it is necessary to understand the knowledge of rock blasting,translate foreign materials,and master the most cutting-edge theories and technologies.This article selects the first two chapters of the book "Rock Blasting" for Russian-Chinese translation.After grasping the language features of the full text,we plan to select two levels of vocabulary and sentences to analyze the article’s translation skills.This article is rich in professional vocabulary and rigorous syntax.When translating vocabulary,it starts from two levels of professional terminology and common vocabulary.When translating sentences,it focuses on the translation methods of passive sentences and long difficult sentences.Finally,a summary of translation skills is aimed at improving the level of translation and laying a solid foundation for future scientific and technological translation studies.
