Food safety issues have been attracting people's attention.The audit of the quality and safety management system of food enterprises and factories is an important part in the process of ensuring food safety.The translation materials of this translation report is Auditing in the Food Industry which was written by Mike Dillon and Chris Griffith.This book introduces the auditing system,auditing principles,auditing procedures and future development direction of the food industry from many perspectives.This book is professional and full of technical terms.In this report,the characteristics and translation methods of food industry terms are discussed in combination with specific examples.This report is mainly composed of four parts.The first part introduces the translation task,translation text information,translation tools and design scheme of translation process.The second part summarizes the terms of food industry,gives the definition of terms,summarizes the characteristics of terms in this field,and classifies the terms encountered in the translation process.The third part introduces translation methods of food industry terms in this report and analyzes with examples.The last part summarizes the difficulties and the matters needing attention in the translation process.Through this translation practice,the author has a deeper understanding of the terminology translation in the field of food industry,hoping to provide some reference for for the translation of scientific and technological texts in the field of food industry.
