In the Chinese proficiency test for international students,cover letters have been used as the key assessment content.Even in the Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia epidemic situation,even after the outbreak period,application letters still play an important role in the successful job placement of candidates.Therefore,teaching Chinese as a foreign language is still important for overseas students to apply for jobs.Compared with the teaching of words,grammar,reading and so on,there are some difficulties in the teaching of cover letter writing.How to write a cover letter is also a weak point for most foreign students to learn Chinese.Therefore,in the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,we should pay attention to the teaching of letter writing.With the help of HSK dynamic composition corpus,data analysis,case analysis,interview and other research methods,this paper makes a comprehensive classification,statistics and analysis of the errors in the South Korean students' letter writing,discusses the types of errors and the causes of errors,and puts forward effective teaching strategies for the causes of errors.This paper is divided into five parts.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly describes the reasons for the topic selection,research review,research objects and methods;The second chapter analyzes the discourse network structure and speech act of Chineseapplication letter with the help of discourse analysis and speech act theory,and focuses on the integrity,position and content errors of six basic discourse structure elements of Korean students' application letters,such as address,greeting,closing,congratulation,signature and date;The third chapter mainly analyzes the errors in the language and punctuation of Korean students' application letters.Among them,errors in language and writing mainly include errors in vocabulary and grammar,errors in writing Chinese characters,errors in textual cohesion and errors in style.Punctuation errors include form errors and function errors.Form errors can be divided into form errors and position errors.Functional errors can be divided into punctuation confusion,punctuation vacancy and punctuation redundancy;The fourth chapter summarizes the causes of errors and puts forward teaching suggestions and textbook compilation suggestions.The causes of errors mainly include negative transfer of mother tongue,interference of target language,teaching and learning strategies and textbook compilation.Suggestions for teaching and textbook compilation include the application of task-based teaching method in writing teaching,the exploration of the text content filling teaching method based on the basic textual structure elements,and the improvement of the compilation of the teaching materials for the writing of the application letter in Chinese as a foreign language;The fifth chapter is based on the previous analysis of Korean students prone toerror types,causes of errors and our teaching suggestions,the teaching design of cover letter writing.
