Night narrative is a new research direction in the field of ancient Chinese novels, which refers to the night narrative in the time narrative level of ancient novels. The time setting of ancient novels has always been one of the focuses of academic research. However,in view of the "day night" narrative angle of novels, scholars mostly focus on the description of the day in ancient novels, while the night narrative is ignored to some extent. In fact,in ancient novels, night narrative,as a common narrative field in time narrative level, plays an important role in narrative structure, narrative function and story description. Therefore, this paper intends to take the night narrative of the Ming and Qing Dynasties' novels of world sentiment as the research object, adopt the horizontal and vertical research directions, take the historical context as the classics, discuss the shape and evolution of the night narrative of the Ming and Qing Dynasties' novels of world sentiment under the background of the narrative development of the previous dynasties' novels, take the night narrative of the same period as the latitude, respectively from the narrative motif, narrative image, narrative form, narrative Six aspects of time, narrative space and narrative cultural interpretation are discussed to explore the important function of night narrative in the novels of Ming and Qing Dynasties,so as to explore the development vein and narrative mode of night narrative in ancient novels.Starting from this, this paper can be divided into six parts:The introduction part introduces the research status, background and significance of the topic, research content and research methods. The current situation of the research is mainly to sort out and discuss the previous research results on the tendency of night narrative in ancient novels, and to explore the achievements and shortcomings of night narrative in ancient novels. The first part is the exploration of the motif of night narrative in Ming and Qing Dynasty Novels, which is divided into three sections: the first section is the motif of "ghosts" and discusses the narrative mode and aesthetic meaning of night narrative in the novel of the motif of supernatural ghosts and ghosts, mainly from the development and evolution of night narrative and the hazy meaning of terrorism;the second section is the motif of "love" and explores the novel with the theme of "love" The third section is the "dream" motif, which discusses the position of night narrative in the structure of the whole book and the narrative function of dreams in the novel with the "dream" as the motif, focusing on the connection between dream structure and night narrative. The second part is the analysis of night narrative images in Ming and Qing Dynasty Novels, mainly involving three typical night images of "Moon","candle" and "fire",discussing the narrative function and aesthetic meaning of these three images in night narrative. The first section is the image of "Moon",which mainly interprets the function of "Moon" on the artistic conception of the novel and the characterization from the aesthetic mood and archetypal symbol of "Moon";the second section is the image of "candle",which can also be called the image of "lamp",which is a typical lighting image of ancient life in China. The fourth section is the lighting function, symbolic meaning, lighting time and characterization of "candle" The third section is "fire" image, mainly from the symbolism of "fire" image,to explore the aesthetic meaning and plot construction of "fire" image in the night narrative. The third part is the analysis of the narrative form of the night in the Ming and Qing Dynasties' novels of the world situation. The narrative form of the night exemplifies the four typical narrative forms of the night, which are "night feast","night walk","night difference" and "night talk",and explores the role of different narrative forms of the night in the night narrative from the four dimensions of construction mode, story length, character shaping and narrative function. The fourth part is the analysis of the narrative time of night in Ming and Qing Dynasty Novels. From the perspective of narrative time, this part is divided into three sections: the first section is the node of night time, mainly focusing on the key words of night time,so as to establish the time of night story;the second section is the frequency of night narrative,so as to explore the narrative density of night narrative frequency from the speed and rhythm of night narrative The third section is the length of the night narrative, which explores the development and evolution of the night narrative in Ming and Qing Dynasty Novels. The fifth part is the analysis of the night narrative space of Ming and Qing Dynasty Novels, mainly from the perspective of space narrative and narrative scene writing. The first section is the narrative perspective of the night space. From the omniscient, limited and comprehensive perspective of the night space,it explains how to present the construction of the night narrative space. The second section is about the writing of the night space scene. It further analyzes the layout and jumping way of the night narrative space scene from the static description of the scene and the transformation of different scenes, which helps to clarify the function of the space construction to the night narrative. The sixth part is the cultural interpretation of the night narrative of the Ming and Qing Dynasty Novels. It discusses the narrative meaning and cultural causes of the night narrative from three aspects: the night ban system, the vision shielding and the literati writing tendency. The implementation of the night ban system gives the night activities the characteristics of unconventionality. The abolition of the night ban system in Ming and Qing Dynasties makes it possible to make the night life public in Ming and Qing Dynasties. The night residents' activities in Ming and Qing Dynasties increase, and the night narrative gradually becomes a new writing direction in literature. The second section starts from the role of the night's line of sight, which can create a private space for the night narrative of the novel. At the same time, the night can also create a blind area of the line of sight, resulting in a series of night escape, assassination and other events with the help of the blind area of the night's line of sight. The third section explores the night narrative phenomenon of the Ming and Qing Dynasty's novels about the world from the perspective of the literati's writing. The trend of "night light and night talk" appeared in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, which laid a writing foundation for the night narrative of the novels.Serving the plot needs is also an important reason for the literati to choose the night narrative. At the same time,it should not be mentioned that the readers,as the audience group of the novels, prefer the aesthetic expectation of the night story It also greatly promoted the formation of literati's night narrative tendency. The last part is the conclusion, which summarizes the whole paper and points out the direction of the research.
