In traditional Chinese culture, can almost be said that,four(the ancients saidwhat is called four seasons nowadays) appearing in the literary works of ancient time is almost the same with the written records of the time synchronization. And the recording and describing about four in the ancient literature can beseen everywhere. To those people, four seasons time is not only a kind of objective physical phenomenon, but also a subjective spirit phenomenon. Seasonal changes of natural connects to the natural rhythm of human life. This relationship hides in the literature, art and other cultural phenomena extensively deep, then influences and universal roles in the artistic emotion, moral reason.The so-called season narrative, refers to a narrative form and method with which the narrator in the novel text show the vicissitudes of life and life experience mainly through the four seasons spring summer autumn and winter the alternation and move in circles with the four seasons in circulation as the narrative content. On the pattern, includes four seasons narrative, solar term narrative and phenological narrative. As a meaningful narrative content,novels of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, combine seasonal time of narration with literary art andnarrative elements of the novel more prominent, diverse season cultural connotation and philosophic meaning.This paper is divided into three parts including introduction, text and conclusion. The introduction includes the research situation, the research object and significance.The first chapter of the text, named "vintage seasonal narrative origin",outlines the novels of the Ming and Qing Dynasties seasonal narrative picture through the analysis of carding the four concepts and summarizing the grasp of seasons in the ancient literary works in the form of features, and then establishes the basis of this argument and logic starting point. The second, named" seasonal narrative morphology and the main types of, analyses the existing form and narrative function of the seasonal narrative in the novels, mainly from three aspects including" Seasons’ narrative","Solar term’s narrative" and "Phenological narrative". The third, named "seasonal narrative literature characteristics ", explores the significance of seasonal narrative to text literature and connotation, from the traditional literary theory of narrative text. The last,named "the cultural connotation of seasonal narrative", combines the characteristics of the seasonal heating, rising and falling, and moving in circles with the cultural connotation in the narrative works, and rises to the philosophical level.Conclusion part mainly discusses the season narrative how to influence and inspiration the modern literature which mainly includes the novels of late Qing Dynasty and the period of the May4th Movement.
