The germination of social anxiety symptoms mainly occurs in adolescence,but it is often ignored,which seriously hinders the development of children’s mental health.In order to improve the mental health level of junior high school students and provide theoretical support for the field of social anxiety,this study explored the influence of parent-child attachment and self-esteem on social anxiety.In this study,511 students in three grades of junior high school were selected as the subjects by questionnaire survey in several middle schools in Shaanxi Province.The subjects were IPPA,SAS-A and SES.Using spss21.0 to process and analyze the data,we can get the conclusion:(1)The parent-child attachment of junior high school students is safe and healthy.There is a significant difference in grade and whether they are class cadres.From the first to the third day of junior high school,the level of parent-child attachment has a downward trend;students who are class cadres have better mother child communication.(2)The social anxiety of junior middle school students is at normal level,and there are significant differences in gender and origin.The level of social anxiety of female students is higher and they are more afraid of negative evaluation;the level of social anxiety of rural students and avoidance and distress in different situations are higher.(3)There are significant differences in self-esteem of junior high school students in the source of students and whether they are class cadres or not.The self-esteem level of urban students is higher,and the score of students who are class cadres is higher.(4)There are significant correlation among parent-child attachment,parent-child attachment,mother attachment and all dimensions,social anxiety and all dimensions and self-esteem.(5)Parent-child attachment has a positive predictive effect on self-esteem,a negative predictive effect on social anxiety,and a negative predictive effect on socialanxiety.(6)Self-esteem plays a part in mediating effect between parent-child attachment and social anxiety.
