With the vigorous development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the teaching characteristics of nationalization are increasingly significant.More and more teachers of Chinese as a foreign language are going to other countries to engage in Chinese teaching.Most of the foreign students who come to China to study Chinese are also teaching in different classes according to their nationality.The localization and pertinence of teaching Chinese as a foreign language have been paid more and more attention by experts and scholars.As a country in the circle of Chinese character culture,South Korea has a very close communication with China since ancient times.Its culture and characters are influenced by China in many aspects.The world’s first Confucius Institute was built in South Korea.Every year,Hanban sends a large number of public teachers and Chinese teacher volunteers to teach Chinese in South Korea.Chinese has also become one of the second foreign languages in South Korea for a large number of South Korean students to learn.It can be said that South Korea is an important position to carry out the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.Figurative words are a kind of words with rich cultural connotations.Through the analysis of the similarities and differences between Chinese and Korean figurative words,we can understand the cognitive mode,thinking mode and cultural similarities and differences of Chinese and Korean people,so as to promote the improvement of Chinese teaching level in South Korea.It is of great significance to include metaphorical words in the learning content of advanced Chinese learners for expanding learners’ vocabulary,strengthening the understanding of cultural words and cultivating learners’ metaphorical thinking ability.In this paper,371 Chinese and 169 Korean metaphors selected from the Modern Chinese Dictionary(7th edition)and the Korean Chinese Dictionary(Essence.Korean Chinese Dictionary)are used as research materials to classify and describe the Chinese and Korean metaphors from the perspective of source domain and target domain.According to the similarities and differences between the source domain and the target domain in the theory of conceptual metaphor,the above words are classified,tabulated and analyzed.On this basis,describe and find out the similarities and differences of Chinese and Korean household words.Then four questionnaires are designed to be distributed to the Chinese learners whose mother tongue is Korean in the advanced stage,to understand the current situation of Korean Learners’ understanding of Chinese metaphorical words,and to determine the teaching difficulties of Korean Chinese metaphorical words.At last,it puts forward teaching suggestions and teaching strategies with reference to teaching difficulties.It is hoped to improve the teaching efficiency and effect of metaphorical vocabulary in order to promote the deep learning of Korean learners.
