A Report On The Simulation Consecutive Interpretation For The 7^th Smart Healthcare Forum

The 7th Smart Healthcare Forum held at the Qingdao Cosmopolitan Exposition Center on October 20 th discussed the technical hotspots in our domestic medical health industry.The forum addressed the development of comprehensive health from various perspectives,to improve both application and outcomes.Considering the significance of the forum and the absence of an interpretation service,the author chose this forum as simulation interpretation practice.This report includes task introduction,practice process,case analysis and practice summary.The author has always viewed Eco-translatology as an important theoretical tool and applied it to this simulation practice.The two aspects of Eco-translatology,the“adaptation and selection”principle and the “three-dimensional transformation”method,assisted the author render a high-quality interpretation.In this process,the author also learned syntactic features of medical English and summarized some useful interpretation strategies.The author hopes that the experience and reflection gained through this practice will be of some guidance for future medical interpreting practice.It should provide insights in the study of medical interpretation for new students.
