Constructing the piano education system with Chinese characteristics is the direction of music workers in the new era.However,in the actual investigation,it is found that the high-frequency piano teaching materials adopted in China are mainly European and American teaching materials and have been published for a long time,and there are few teaching materials based on Chinese culture,which is not conducive to the inheritance of Chinese national culture and fails to develop the cognitive ability of Chinese children’s folk music.In view of this phenomenon,the researcher selected the course of introduction to Chinese wind piano as the research object,took children’s cognitive psychology as the starting point,reviewed the previous theories,and then proposed the subject inference.Then it analyzes the cognitive ability of different aspects in children’s music psychology and proves whether the inference is valid by the method of practical test and teaching.Firstly,the research status of the compilation of Chinese piano teaching materials is reviewed,and the research feasibility of Chinese piano teaching materials with Chinese characteristics is expounded.Secondly,the cognitive part of music psychology and children’s cognitive psychology were analyzed,and the theoretical connotation and the course dimensions were defined and considered.Thirdly,based on children’s musical cognitive ability,122 children were tested in the aspects of cognition,musical attention and musical memory of basic musical elements,and the results were recorded.In the process of collecting the cognitive data of actual teaching,the author analyzed the teaching situation of the children with zero foundation and the children with elementary foundation,and collected the responses of the subjects.Finally,after the combination of theoretical content and actual data,the author reasonably predicts the compilation of children’s piano courses in the piano education system with Chinese characteristics.To be honest,there is still room for improvement in the research process,and we will make further efforts to improve it in the future.Through the practical test,it is found that most of the children have little knowledge of Chinese music.The ability to recognize the basic elements of music,to pay attention to music and to remember music is strong.Body rhythm develops children’s motion perception,which can be accurately completed whether in a single rhythm or in combination.Children’s interest in learning the course of introduction to Chinese style piano is high,which indicates that developing the course of piano initiation with Chinese characteristics conforms to children’s cognitive ability and is conducive to the formation of children’s national cultural genes.
