| The focus of English teaching in primary school is to stimulate and maintain students’ interest in learning English.How to effectively stimulate students’ enthusiasm in English learning through teaching is a problem which needs to be solved urgently.Based on this,the Primary School English Curriculum Standards specifically puts forward requirements for students to learn to sing English songs and chants.Therefore,this requires that primary school English teachers should fully and effectively integrate the content of music elements such as English songs and chants in their teaching,in order to make boring foreign language learning becomes interesting.The purpose of this study is to investigate the existing problems and improvement strategies by investigating the actual situation of the integration of music elements in the current primary school English teaching.This thesis first observes the actual teaching situation of F elementary school English teachers in C city integrating music elements in the classroom,and finds that the teachers are in the choice of the material of the music element,the integration of the music element and the teaching process,and the integration of the music element in the teaching purpose There are obvious deficiencies,which leads to the low effectiveness of the integration of music elements into English teaching in primary schools,which hinders the educational value of primary school students learning English.Secondly,based on classroom observations,the researchers used questionnaires and interviews to investigate teachers and students.The analysis found that there are problems with the integration of music elements into primary school English teaching: the lack of material resources for teachers ’masters,teachers The understanding of music elements and their educational value is more one-sided.Teachers did not fully prepare for the integration of music elements during the lesson preparation,and the awareness of teaching reflection on the integration of music elements after class was not strong.The contempt for the importance of integrating music elements into teaching,etc.Finally,in order to give full play to the educational value of music elements to stimulate primary school students’ English learning,the researchers proposed the following improvement strategies: the three basic principles that need to be followed for the integration of music elements into English teaching in primary schools,the establishment of a material resource library for music elements,and the requirement for teachers to fully understand music elements Connotation and the value of integrating into elementary school English teaching,improving teachers’ qualities of integrating music elements into teaching,and specifying how to fully integrate music elements into teaching through a teaching design. |
