Study On “Qufuyiwenkao “(Not Published)and Compilation

Liu Yongji(1887-1966),with the courtesy name Hongdu and his pseudonym Songzhou,is one of the most famous classical Chinese literature experts in China,along with his schoolmate Chen Yinke.When he was young,he studied Chinese literature and history from his grandfather Liu Changyou and his father Liu Siqian.Later,he studied Ci from the famous modern Ci scholars Kuang Zhouyi and Zhu Zumou.Liu yongji is knowledgeable and meticulous in his study.His research covers many fields of classical Chinese literature,including poetry,Ci,Qu and literary theory,among these,The Songs of Chu and Wen Xin Diao Long are the most famous in academic circles.In the first year of the Cultural Revolution,he was criticized and died unjustly.His millions of words of the manuscript,after suffering,can survive and be kept by the domestic four units and Ms.Liu.At present,only our school and Wuhan university have been authorized by Liu’s descendants to sort out and study the Liu’s manuscripts.The Liu’s family took Hong Xingzu’s notes from Wang Yi’s“Chapters“,namely“supplementary notes to the Songs of Chu“ as the basic text,and corrected Qu Fu according to Yao Tinghui’s “Examinations of Differences“,Zhu Xi’s “Notes to the Songs of Chu “,Dai Zhen’s “Notes to Qu Yuan“,Liu Shipei’s “Examination of the Songs of Chu “ and other works so as to compile a book named “Examination of Qu Fu’s differences“.However,Liu family did not complete the wish.The topic of this paper is mainly to sort out and disprove the manuscripts of Qu Fu collected by Liu family in our school,and to study the forms,causes and methods and principles of Liu family’s collation of the Songs of Chu.The introduction introduced Liu Yongji’s life and his main achievements,reviews the academic history of related studies on Qu Fu’s literature,and explains the main content,academic meaning,research ideas,research materials and research methods of the selected topic.The first chapter sorted out the manuscripts of Qu Fu written by Liu Yongji,introduced the relevant situation,and rearranged the different articles listed by Liu Yongji according to the order of each chapter in Hong Xingzu’s supplementary notes to the Songs of Chu.Meanwhile,each different article was proved.The second chapter researched the forms of different writings in different essays of Qu Fu.According to error example of the word and the sound,the word(sentence),the derivation,and the taboo example to do a classification for discussion.The third chapter summarizes the reasons for the emergence of different writings of the Qu Fu.It can be moderately divided into seven situations,including different ancient and modern characters,different alien characters,different generic characters,different the close shape,different the close pronunciation,different the close meaning,different the departure from the original text and different text order that can cause the different writings.The fourth chapter analyzed the principles and emendation methods for the Qu Fu by Liu Yongji,which are often based on Wang Yi’s notes,phonology,biben,common sense and comprehensive application of various methods.Because of Liu’s rigorous emendation,the untrustworthy methods of emendation are often used with caution.
