Mai Jia,the father of espionage novels in China,has published many novels.He is also the winner of Mao Dun Literature Awards.There are three novels of Mai Jia have been translated into English---Decoded:A Novel and In the Dark.Both of them have been published in several English-speaking countries since March 2014.After the publication,it has aroused great repercussions overseas,breaking the dilemma of publication of Chinese novels commercially.In the light of this,the thesis will take the English version of those two works as a typical successful case of the practice of Chinese literature "going-global".The research objects of this paper is the text that consist of two Mai Jia's works----Decoded:A Novel and In the Dark.On the base of close reading and corpus,this paper attempts analysis the text in multiply view.First of all,the thesis combs the process of the discovery,production and translation of works.Then,by data comparison,this paper tries to analyze and summarize the style translation of works Finally,the paper focuses on communication and acceptance of the translated works.In general,The success of translation and introduction is the result of many factors such as the artistic value of the text,the translator,the promotion of publishing institutions,and the mass media,etc.
