Study On Dissemination And Acceptance Of Modern And Contemporary Chinese Writers' Works In Vietnam

With their unique ideological value and artistic attainments,the works of modern and contemporary Chinese writers not only vigorously promote the development of Chinese social culture and constantly enrich the spiritual life of the Chinese nation,but also spread abroad and have a great influence in the world literary arena.Since their introduction to Vietnam in the early 1930s,Chinese modem and contemporary works have played a vital role in the development of Vietnamese literature.The topic of this dissertation takes the dissemination and acceptance of Chinese contemporary writers'works in Vietnam as the research object and combs a large number of translated works and related studies by using sociology,philology,statistics,communication and other related theories.In this thesis,we will try to elaborate the most real scene of dissemination and acceptance of Chinese contemporary writers' works in Vietnam.The dissertation consists of an introduction,six chapters and a conclusion.The introduction part summarizes the origin and time definition of the topic,the object of study and research significance,the current research situation in China and Vietnam,as well as research methods and research ideas.Chapter one elaborates the basic conditions and characteristics of the dissemination and acceptance of Chinese contemporary writers' works in Vietnam.On the whole,taking Vietnam's important historical stages as the background,this paper first introduces the dissemination and acceptance of Chinese contemporary writers' works in Vietnam before 1945,illustrates the resistance of French colonial culture to the process of dissemination and acceptance,mentions the initial dissemination and acceptance of Chinese contemporary literature represented by Kang Youwei,Liang Qichao and Lu Xun in Vietnam.Then it tells the spread and acceptance of Chinese modern and contemporary writers' works in Vietnam from 1945 to 1975,and points out that the efforts made by Vietnamese translators in the anti French and anti American wars are related to the important influence of Mao Zedong's literary thought in Vietnam.Finally,the paper reviews the communication and acceptance of Chinese modern and contemporary writers' works in Vietnam after 1975,including the dilemma caused by the war and the new appearance brought about by the resumption of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam on the communication of Chinese literature in Vietnam.Although the process of communication and acceptance started and took place during the Vietnam War,it had some ups and downs,but at last it has overcome the difficulties and achieved great achievements.Chapter two and chapter three discuss the ways and mechanisms of dissemination and acceptance of contemporary Chinese writers' works in Vietnam.From the perspective of Chinese social history,chapter two expounds the translation,introduction and acceptance psychology of Chinese contemporary writers' works in Vietnam,including the specific translation,introduction and acceptance of works before the new China has been established(1949),during the Mao Zedong era(1949-1976),and since China's reform and opening up(after 1976).Chapter three talks about the reviews and studies of contemporary Chinese literature in Vietnam,reviews the achievements of contemporary Chinese literary historians and critics in Vietnam.It also talks about the important publishing houses,newspapers and magazines and their communication achievements,which related to the dissemination of modern and contemporary Chinese literature.Through the compilation of the history of Chinese modern and contemporary literature in Vietnam,the selection of authors' works and the research activities of Vietnamese students on modern and contemporary Chinese literature,this chapter points out the importance of Chinese modern and contemporary literature to Vietnamese foreign literature education.Chapter four discusses the translation,introduction,research and acceptance of Lu Xun,the most representative writer of modern Chinese literature,and his works in Vietnam.It also discusses the acceptance and reference of Lu Xun's literature by Vietnamese critical realist writers,such as Ngo Tat To and Nam Cao.Compared with other modern Chinese literary writers,Lu Xun plays an important role in the history of Vietnamese literature and plays an active role in Vietnamese culture,society,education and other fields.His creative style and artistic expression also edify many Vietnamese writers and have a far-reaching impact on them.Chapter five elaborates the translation,introduction,research and acceptance of Moyan,the most representative of contemporary Chinese literature,and his works in Vietnam,as well as the acceptance and reference of several representative writers of Vietnamese literature in the new period,such as Nguyen Ngoc Tu,Do Hoang Dieu and Vo Thi Hao.Among the Chinese contemporary writers spread to Vietnam,Mo Yan is the most popular with Vietnamese readers.With his creative characteristics,he has stirred up Vietnamese literary circles for a long time,aroused positive social repercussions,guided many Vietnamese contemporary writers to a democratic,free and open creative path,and played an important role in the innovation and development of Vietnamese literature in the new era.The sixth chapter discusses the achievements,problems and prospects of the dissemination and acceptance of modern and contemporary Chinese writers' works in Vietnam,states the great achievements in the field of literary and cultural exchanges between China and Vietnam,and points out the biases and misunderstandings in the process of dissemination and acceptance.Through the evaluation and analysis of various problems,after identifying the root causes of these biases and misunderstandings,further formulate specific strategies and solutions for the parties involved in the communication and acceptance process.This is a task that needs the joint effborts of management,translators and readers.The dissemination and acceptance of modern and contemporary Chinese writers' works in Vietnam will surely take on a new look in the next stage of development if the requirements of comprehensively expanding the dissemination target,strictly checking the quality of translated works and maximizing the reading quality are met.The concluding part summarizes the contents of the dissertation,and points out the innovative points and shortcomings of the research.The dissemination and acceptance of modern and contemporary Chinese writers' works in Vietnam is a continuous historical process.Therefore,this topic is not only a review and summary of the past,but also a prospect and suggestions for the future.It has a lasting value and is worth further in-depth discussion by Chinese and Vietnamese experts and scholars.
