| With the international popularity of Chinese writers abroad,they are also frequently being studied.Among the studies of Yu Hua,there is few from the perspective of cross-culture.By the study of the acceptance of Yu Hua’s works in Russia,this paper tries to conclude some general rules of cross-cultural acceptance,which could provide references for the creation,translation and spread of good literary works.This paper mainly takes To Live as an example,as well as other works like Ten Words in China,Chronicle of A Blood Merchant,and Brothers,to analyze from the cross-cultural perspectives like their subject,the similarities in history,their writing styles,and the translation qualities.With such analysis,this paper concludes that,the factors that help Yu Hua overcome the cultural differences in Russia include fundamental subjects,similar historical events,easy and simple writing styles,and high-quality translation.The globalization requires current writers to have the cross-cultural ability and horizon.The cross-cultural study mode also becomes a basic trend of future academic research,and the “Chinese Experience” can be built from such point of angle. |
