As a type of conversation structure,the inserted reply is used frequently in Chinese daily life.It is necessary for foreign students to master this structure in order to improve their Chinese communicative capacity.So investigating the inserted reply of Chinese and combining it with Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language plays an important role in theory and practice.Based on the conversation analysis theory,this paper investigates the quantities,forms,functions,using conditions and characteristics of arrangement of inserted reply in elementary and intermediate of HANYU JIAOCHENG,BOYA HANYU and FAZHAN HANYU,containing their tests and practice.At the same time,this paper compares the textbooks with conversation of native speakers of Chinese and foreign learners about inserted reply,discussing the rationality an efficiency of the testbooks.At last,this paper puts forwad some suggestions of textbook compilation.Researching the inserted reply from different aspects contributes to identifying its forms,functions and using condictions and showing its forms and contexts more rationalliy.In this way,foreign students can be guided to pay more attention to and use this structure,and then make progress in Chinese conversation.This paper is divided into five chapters.The Chapter 1 is introduction,including the meaning of topic,domestic and overseas researches,process and methods.The Chapter 2 is about the investigation of inserted reply in Chinese testbooks.It mainly investigates quantities,forms,functions,and using conditions of the inserted reply in the texts and practice of three Chinese textbooks.Besides,it summarizes the characteristics of arrangement of the inserted reply in these textbooks.The Chapter 3 is about the investigation of the rationality and efficiency of the testbooks.In this chapter,the author collects the language material of native speakers of Chinese and foreign learners in ways of setting scenes,recording and transfers it into character.Then the author analize the characteristic of inserted reply of native speakers of Chinese and foreign learners,compering them with the textbooks to discuss the rationality and efficiency of the testbooks in the arrangement of this structure.Base on the conclusion of the Chapter 2 and the Chapter 3,the Chapter 4 put forward some suggestions of textbooks compilation about tests and practice.The Chapter 5 is conclusion,which summarizes the viewpoints of this paper and points out the innovations and disadvantages.
