Stady On The Textual Research Of Words Meaning Of Ding Ruoyong's Shangshu Guxun

Content:Ding Ruoyong was Confucian scholar who has the most writings in the Li Dynasty of Korea,the synthesizer of practical thought.Shangshu Guxun is a scholarly work of Shang Shu,which is based on three manuscripts of Guxun Soulue,Meishi Shuping and Shangshu Zhiyuanlu.The book is a textual research of Mei Ze's 33 scriptures,Kongzhuan and ancient exegesis.The textual research Shangshu Guxun concentrates on the rules and regulations,historical facts and the meaning of the chapter,etc.lt represents Cha Shan's highest achievement of the academic about Shang Shu,is also the champion of Shang Shu's exegesis works for entire Korean Dynasty.The methods of textual research used in Cha Shan's Shangshu Guxun can be classified into two categories,one is citing and textual research,another is evidential textual research,the former includes quoting the ancient to verity the meaning,citing historical materials to differentiate the meaning,and quoting scripture to instruct the meaning.The later includes linguistic theory demonstration that based on pronunciation,text,vocabulary,Context and grammar,and things theory demonstration including Scientific principles,ancient laws and regulations,historical facts and common sense.These methods,which Cha Shan has to adapt to the situation,are used in a comprehensive way,making the textual research on the meaning of words in the book appear to be well-founded and persuasive.The function of textual research on the words meaning of Cha Shan's Shangshu Guxun is confirming,refuting and doubting.Confirming refers to supplement the background of textual research,expand the meaning of the scriptures and enrich the documentary evidence.Refuting refers to six kinds of criticism,namely,refuting the mistakes of interpreting without real understanding,confirming the violations of historical facts,pointing out the inaccuracies,correcting the deviations and violations of language processing,correcting the errors in pseudo-writings,and criticizing where was given far-fetched explanations,etc.Doubting refers to further clarify their own interpretation that can not determine,whether this interpretation of other exegetics confirmed or not.Because of the characteristics of the textual research on the meaning of the words,Shangshu Guxun has made great achievements in the Shang Shu's exegesis in the whole Korean dynasty.The difference is that the textual research of words meaning combines the theory of real knowledge of Korea,the theory of interpretation of meaning and the theory of discrimination of falsehood,which creates its own exegetical style.Although Shangshu Guxun failed to attach importance to the traditional Chinese exegesis methods such as shape exegesis and sound exegesis,it is still outstanding and the value is quite high.
