Zheng Ruoyong was a famous hermit in the middle of the Ming Dynasty, who created legendary operas as a "hermit" and was a famous writer of the parallelism occupied. His masterpiece of Yu Jue has attracted widespread attention in the opera circle and is one of the most famous representative works of the parallelism occupied in the mid-Ming Dynasty. The plot of Yu Jue is repeated, mainly taking the joys and sorrows of Wang Shang and Qin Qingniang as the main line, exposing the sin of the brothel and admonishing the world. On the basis of inheriting the old story pattern, the play adds the background of the war between Song and Jin Dynasties and the plot of Xin Qiji and Zhang Jun's rebellion, develops the double-line structure into a three-line structure, and skillfully sets up customs, uses coincidences to make the whole play more attractive. The most prominent point in the creation of this drama is the accumulation of rhetoric and elegant and artistic style, and thus establishing its position as the backbone of the parallelism occupied. However, because his lyrics are too elegant, has also caused a lot of criticism from later generations,so that the overall evaluation is more negative than positive.Although the works of parallelism occupied deviate from the requirements of performance on the stage to a certain extent, they reflect the direction of the development of the times and history, and conform to the aesthetic pursuit of elegance after the legendary style was touched by literati. The appearance of Yujieji promoted the artistic taste of the legendary opera, led the development direction of the literati legend, and played an irreplaceable important role in the evolution of the legend of Ming Dynasty. Its ethical purport,three-line blending structure, elegant and beautiful lyrics and skillful use of Zhong yuan Yin yun all had positive or negative effects on the composers at that time and later generations.
