The Study On The Transmutation Of Contemporary Aesthetics Reflected In Short Videos

In recent years,with the acceleration of life rhythm,high speed and high efficiency have become a common pursuit of people.Driven by mobile Internet technology,the emergence of short videos caters to the aesthetic needs of people to"look quickly".So we see that short video applications have become the most popular mobile phone applications today.Whether on the road,at home,or in office space,there are always people immersed in short videos.The short video is a product of the current era with a distinctive epochal character.What does its arrival mean that contemporary art,aesthetics,and culture have changed?This article believes that as an emerging pan-network art form,the rise of short videos effectively reflects the transmutation of contemporary aesthetics.Therefore,this article mainly analyzes how short videos reflect contemporary aesthetic transmutation from an aesthetic perspective.The article mainly includes six parts:introduction,four chapters and conclusion:The introduction first introduces the reasons for selecting the topic and the significance of the study,and then reviews the current situation of short video study in China,and finally explains the goals,ideas and methods of this study.Studying contemporary short video from an aesthetic point of view is an innovative attempt to combine aesthetic theory with the reality of life,and can provide some help for the construction of a new era of network literary theory system.The first chapter discusses the definition,nature,type and development status of short video.Firstly,the short video is conceptually defined by combining elements such as duration,carrier,and media.Secondly,the nature of short video is explained.In this paper,short video is studied as a pan-network literary form.Then,by sorting out the types of short videos,it supplements the extension of its definition,which can more fully and intuitively understand the short video.Finally,it sorts out the development history and current status of short video in China.The second chapter analyzes how the aesthetic transmutation reflected in the short video is generated from multiple angles,and paves the way for the corresponding study on the characteristics of aesthetic transmutation in the third chapter.This article believes that the transmutation of aesthetic activities is closely related to the changes of the aesthetic context,aesthetic field,and aesthetic medium.Therefore,this article mainly explores the generation background of the short video aesthetic transformation from the above three parts.Firstly,short videos are originated from the aesthetic context of the "micro" era.Under the aesthetic context of aestheticization of daily life and popular culture,the aesthetic psychology of the aesthetic subject has changed,and the scope of the aesthetic object has expanded.Secondly,short videos are generated in the virtual "cyber" aesthetic field.As the Internet changes from web 1.0 to web2.0 to mobile internet,this aesthetic field shows equality,symbolism and interactivity Characteristics.Thirdly,technicality is the ontological attribute of short video.Technology has affected various aspects such as the production,development,creation and dissemination of the short video,so that short video shows the aesthetic characteristics different from traditional art forms.The third chapter is based on the previous chapter’s analysis of the background of the short video’s aesthetic transformation.From the three perspectives of aesthetic preference,aesthetic perception and aesthetic experience,combined with the specific cases in the short video,the contemporary aesthetic transformation characteristics of the short video are analyzed.This article believes that the aesthetic transformation is mainly manifested in three aspects.Firstly,in terms of aesthetic preference,it appears as a transformation from integrity to fragmentation.The fragmented aesthetic features in the short video are mainly manifested in three aspects:the fragmentation of the form and content of the aesthetic object,the fragmentation of the creative technique,and the fragmentation of the time.Secondly,in terms of aesthetic perception,it shows a change from permanence to instantaneousness.The instantaneous aesthetic features in the short video are mainly manifested in "one-time aesthetics" and aesthetic aspects of instantaneous speed.Thirdly,in terms of aesthetic experience,it shows a change from spiritual pleasure to sensory pleasure.The pleasure aesthetics in the short video are mainly reflected in three aspects:visual pleasure,auditory pleasure and tactile pleasure,which shows that the contemporary aesthetics are more and more inclined to sensory pleasure.The fourth chapter expounds the dialectical understanding of short video.Based on the analysis of the characteristics of aesthetic transmutation in Chapter 3,whether it is fragmented aesthetics,instantaneous aesthetics,or pleasure aesthetics,all of them reflect the contemporary aesthetic transmutation features reflected in the short video,which are both positive and worthy of reflection.Short video meets the public’s aesthetic needs and stimulates the public’s creative potential.At the same time,its"short,flat and fast" aesthetic mode will also lead to superficial and vulgar aesthetics,as well as the alienation of people by short video media technology.And therefore,this article puts forward three suggestions for its future development in combination with the application of short video:to cultivate high-quality short video,to apply short video to aesthetic education,and to make short video a new form of cultural communication,which will promote the healthy development of short videos.The conclusion part summarizes the study results of the full text,and makes a deeper reflection on the transmutation of contemporary aesthetics,and reflects on the shortcomings of the research.
