Since the eighties and nineties of the last century,the focus of the media has shifted to film and television,and popular culture has continued to develop.It has become a common phenomenon that novels are adapted into film and television dramas.Under the influence of visual culture,the interactive relationship between novels and movie screenwriters becomes more and more complicated.Contemporary literature needs to study and reflect on this.Liu Zhenyun is an early "electric shock" writer in the contemporary literary world.In recent years,the influence of his novels and film and television screenwriters is worth studying.The two-way interaction between novels and movies runs through all stages of adaptation of Liu Zhenyun's novels.However,the author finds that the interactive relationship between the two is not always balanced.In the 1980 s and 1990 s,the force of literature is greater than that of film and television,and since the new century,film and television have more and more profound influence on novels.This also reflects from one side the changes in the living circumstances of novels in the era of visual culture.Through the research on the interactive relationship between Liu Zhenyun's novels and the screenwriter of the film and television reform,the possibility of novel writing in the visual era is discussed.This article is divided into five parts to discuss:The first chapter focuses on combing the era environment in which Liu Zhenyun's novels and movies participate in film adaptation.From the novel era to the visual culture era,the elements of "market","film and television" and "mass culture" are no longer unfamiliar,and the internal and external environment of literature has undergone dramatic changes.The production,consumption and dissemination of literature have entered the market-oriented operation system.Writers began to take an active part in film adaptation and film writing.At the same time,their cultural identities became more diversified.The second chapter discusses the strong position of literature adaptation in the1980 s and 1990 s,starting from the two screenwriters of Liu Zhenyun's novels,Tabu and One Chicken Feather.During this period,the popularity of the novel wasgreater than that of movies and TV plays.The influence of the novel itself and the living characteristics of the theme promoted the adaptation of the novel.In shooting,the director followed the adaptation concept faithful to the original work and injected literary character into the screenwriter.The alienation of power to human beings in the novels "Unit" and "One Chicken Feather" was completely presented in the TV series.The third chapter explores the powerful force of film and television on novels by combing the adaptation process of Liu Zhenyun's novels in the new century.Apart from the films 1942 and Tabu,Liu Zhenyun has eight TV plays adapted from his novels written after the new century.The film and television tendency of these novels in terms of theme,story,structure and language facilitates the adaptation of film and television dramas.Influenced by consumer culture,the market plays a more and more important role in the adaptation.The change of screenwriter highlights the entertainment spirit and weakens the criticism in the original work.The fourth chapter discusses the enlightenment of the interactive relationship between Liu Zhenyun's novels and movies to the development of literature and movies.The novel supplements and enriches the film and television in content,and the film and television have promoted the innovation of the novel in writing and communication.On this basis,I think that in the era of visual culture,writers should stick to what kind of writing posture in order to obtain more living space for novels.The conclusion part discusses the uniqueness of the interactive relationship between Liu Zhenyun's novels and movies from the perspective of the common development of contemporary literature and movies.
