| Architectural art is an intuitive embodiment of human culture.To a certain extent,it represents the civilization degree of a nation,materializes the aesthetic standards of people in an era,and is a valuable wealth for studying human history and civilization.In the performance of architectural design,European architecture shows an incredible beauty of curves everywhere,especially Byzantine architecture and Gothic architecture.However,Islamic style buildings are also impressive for their empty and serene beauty,rich and varied geometric decorations and colorful glass design.Among these buildings,the most impressive is the dome’s appearance,the spatial feeling inside the building,and the complicated geometric decoration.Since ancient times,architectural elements have appeared in ceramic decoration.With the continuous development of the society,people’s aesthetic interest is also changing.Nowadays,the expression methods of ceramic decoration are also becoming rich and colorful.People are also constantly trying to make ceramic design more diversified in practice and exploration.The research of this project uses the combination of architectural element dome and ceramic modeling design to highlight the beauty of a foreign style in the appearance of ceramic.In the design of ceramic decoration patterns,the internal geometric structure and pattern decoration style of the dome are used for reference,so that the modeling and decoration of the work look more harmonious,comfortable and distinctive.It is also the research focus of this topic to apply ceramic over glaze decoration and bucket color decoration techniques to ceramic decoration.Through the use of different decorative techniques can express different ceramic language,thus,the dome of architectural elements,geometric patterns,a variety of decorative techniques are integrated in the works,to show a different visual effect,to produce an artistic collision of foreign customs,which is a preliminary study of this design. |
