Research On The Application Of Lion Image In Modern Pottery Creation

In the development history of Chinese ceramics,the diversity and richness of decorative patterns and pattern types are one of its unique and important features.They not only reflect the life consciousness and aesthetic taste of people in various eras,but also indirectly express the religious sentiment and national character of the Chinese people.With the diversification of people’s demands for utensil design techniques,cultural connotations,and aesthetic ideas,the decorative elements in ceramics are increasingly presenting a beautiful and exciting development outlook.Among them,the inheritance and innovation of excellent traditional Chinese culture has gradually become an important path for "integrity and innovation".For example,the innovative application of traditional "lion" elements has gradually become the focus of attention in the field of contemporary cultural and creative design.Designers and artists from various arts and crafts industries such as ceramics have refined and recreated the traditional lion element image,integrating it into ceramic cultural and creative design,forming a unique decorative phenomenon.The paper focuses on the artistic phenomenon of lion elements reflected and expressed in the history and culture of ceramic decoration,analyzing the decorative form,expression techniques,aesthetic taste,etc.On the basis of theoretical research,in-depth exploration and thinking were conducted on the innovative application and expression of traditional lion elements in combination with the cultural trend of modern ceramic art creation expression.By discovering and learning graphic and textual materials of lion culture,combined with analyzing and researching the development trend and formal language of ceramic decoration in my field of study.Apply the lion element to the creation of graduation works.With traditional blue and white,colored glaze and other traditional crafts,modern painting and decoration techniques are integrated for comprehensive performance,and China-Chic,Guofeng and other contemporary new cultural and creative design languages are used to interpret Chinese culture and tell Chinese stories.This not only demonstrates the author’s new attempt at blue and white creation in modern ceramic art,but also reflects the understanding,transformation,and reconstruction of traditional culture in modern ceramic art based on a new perspective and context.
