Uyghur Muqam Harmony Factors In Contemporary Music Works

In the second half of the 20 th century,with the development of professional music creation of Chinese ethnic minorities,new works of various genres created by the use of Uyghur Muqam music elements and multiple sound factors in Xinjiang have received more and more attention.After a long historical process,Uyghur Muqam has gradually formed a rich polyphonic pattern.Contemporary composers have combined Muqam's polyphonic factors in the use of harmony,and constantly seek a suitable polyphonic expression.Constantly innovating and developing while drawing on it,it has provided a rich practical reference for the theoretical research of Uyghur Muqam.As a part of the Uyghur music culture,contemporary musical works reflect the national characteristics from a new creative perspective while inheriting the tradition,thus bringing new vitality to Uyghur Muqam music.With Uyghur Muqam's musical works "Dolan People's Prom" and "Muqam Theme Overture" as the starting points,and from a multi-sounding perspective,the issues of solving the problem of combining Uyghur Muqam's musical elements with Western modern harmony technology from the perspective of composition technology,and the national characteristics and styles presented by harmony vocabulary based on Muqam's mode are studied in depth.This article is divided into three chapters.The first chapter discusses the reasons for selecting the topic,the purpose of the research,the significance of the research,the research status,and research methods;The second chapter is an overview of the formation and development of Uyghur Muqam,the characteristics of Uyghur Muqam's mode,and the polyphonic form of "Dolan muqam";The third chapter analyzes the two works in detail,exploring and refining the polyphonic music forms and harmony vocabulary with Uyghur music characteristics,and trying to provide new experience,new paths,new methods,new thinking for professional music creation from a theoretical level,so as to provide meaningful reference for promoting the development of Uyghur Muqam music.
