The Overall Visual Image Design Of Dali Weishan Torch Festival

Weishan ancient city,that is,Nanzhao ancient city,stands in Weishan Yi Hui Autonomous County in the south of Dali.The ancient city has a long history and is full of places of interest.It is not only the birthplace and hometown of Nanzhao country,but also the hometown of the global Yi ancestor.It has an extraordinary position in the development and culture of the Yi people.Torch Festival is one of the most important traditional folk festivals of the Yi,and with the continuous development of society and the continuous integration of culture,Torch Festival has gradually become a traditional festival that is not celebrated by the people of the Yi in the areas where Yi people live together,and it is an important representative of the cultural integration of many ethnic groups in Southwest China.As an important settlement of Yi ancestors,the torch festival has naturally become the biggest festival in Weishan.At the same time,it is also an important highlight for the local government to attract domestic and foreign tourists and develop Weishan cultural tourism.It is also an important means and opportunity for Weishan to publicize six tourism cultural business cards with Weishan characteristics,including "Nanzhao ancient capital,Yi ancestor's hometown,Taoism holy land,bird road Xiongguan,the source of Red River and harmonious return to the village".Therefore,in order to protect Weishan torch festival culture and build Weishan tourism brand,it is necessary to explore a complete visual image system that conforms to modern aesthetics.In my research,I found that Weishan Torch Festival has not yet established a complete visual image system,but still stays in the direct use of traditional Yi elements for decoration,has not been refined nor integrated with local characteristics,and the visual image as a whole is chaotic and not recognizable.This paper aims at the establishment of the visual image of Weishan Torch Festival,combines the characteristics of Weishan ancient city,excavates the cultural connotation of Weishan Torch Festival,constructs the visual image system of the torch festival in line with modern aesthetics,and promotes the inheritance and development of Weishan Yi culture.At the same time,it provides a reference for the establishment of brand image of traditional festivals,especially local characteristic festivals.
