The Eastern Zhou Dynasty was at a critical stage of social transformation and urban development in ancient China.With the decline of the Eastern Zhou dynasty,the sub-enclosure system with the blood relationship as a link gradually disintegrated,and the county system characterized by the geographical relationship gradually developed and matured.Under this historical background,the cities with the Jin culture as the main common feature within the scope of the Jin and Sanjin jurisdictions not only increased significantly in number,but also experienced the optimization and adjustment of the organizational model,gradually forming the capital and administration.A secondary structure city network composed of functional local cities.Therefore,the investigation of the city model of the Jin Cultural District in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty is not only an important part of the study of the development of ancient Chinese cities,but also provides a unique perspective for the development process of Jin culture.This article mainly divides into five chapters to study thecities model of Jin Cultural District in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty.The main content of the first chapter is to first define the relevant concepts and research objects involved in the thesis;secondly,to define the time and space scope according to the concept of Jin culture;then to explain the historical development background of the Jin cultural area;Based on the excavation and research results of the archaeological investigations in Yi,this article raised questions and innovative breakthrough points for the research in this article.The second chapter is to organize and analyze the materials of the city.Through a comprehensive collection and arrangement,this article includes a total of 192 cities and towns in the Jin Cultural District that have been archaeologically investigated and excavated,including 38 in the Spring and Autumn Period and 174 in the Warring States Period,including the Spring and Autumn Towns that were used in the Warring States Period.On the basis of understanding the information of the cities and towns,all the cities and towns are divided into five levels according to the area,and then they are divided into five categories according to the nature of the test.The third chapter is to investigate the distribution and organizational characteristics of the city.According to the territorial scope of Jin and Sanjin,combined with the ranks and categories of the cities in the Jin cultural area,the characteristics of the spatial distribution of the cities and the organizational changes were analyzed,and then the cities in the Jin cultural areas during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Period experienced a number of growth and organizational structure Hierarchical and deepening changes,together with the "circular" distribution model with large cities as the core,exist in the overall layout of the development of the city,which laid the foundation for the formation of the national city network system under the county and county administration in the Qin and Han Dynasties.The fourth chapter is to discuss the factors that influence the formation of the city model.By separately observing the influence of natural geographical environment,political background,military defense,transportation and other factors on the development of the city,it is found that the political factor runs through the development of the city,is the leading factor in the formation of the city model,and the natural geographical environment factor is fundamental Effect,the degree of effect of other factors gradually deepened.
