Research On Public Satisfaction Of Cultural Construction In Urban Communities

Community culture is an important part of community construction and development.The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China states that "the principal contradiction facing Chinese society has evolved into the contradiction between unbalanced and inadequate development and the people's ever-growing needs for a better life." By 2020,our country is about to build a moderately prosperous society in all respects.With the gradual improvement of the material standard of living,people are paying more and more attention to the spiritual and cultural needs.Therefore,community cultural construction will inevitably become the main battlefield for people to meet their spiritual needs.It can not only enrich the daily life and improve the cultural quality of the public,but also can greatly promote social civilization.Under the environment of the community cultural construction is getting more and more important,we need to evaluate the current situation of urban community cultural construction,taking measures to optimize,adjust,and improve it in a continuous way.Public satisfaction is a vital criterion to text the urban community cultural construction.Therefore,a research of public satisfaction for community cultural construction should be conducted which aims to find out the factors that affect public satisfaction and provide a basis for further improvement of urban community cultural construction.Focusing on the public satisfaction for urban community cultural construction,this paper mainly uses three research methods: literature research,questionnaire and interview.First of all,it briefly summarizes the research status of community cultural construction and public satisfaction at home and abroad,defines the basic concepts involved in this paper,and explains the connotation of citizen governance theory and new public service theory.Secondly,five structural variables were selected to construct the public satisfaction model and research hypotheses is proposed.A relatively scientific questionnaire was designed by combing the scale in the existing literature to operative define the structural variables.In the formal survey,SPSS17.0 was used to conduct a statistical analysis of the valid questionnaires,and four elements that influenced the cultural construction of urban communities were obtained.The research showsthat the current quality of community cultural construction on X Street in Jinan has some major problems such as uneven distribution of community resources,lacking innovation in community activities,loose management of community organizations,and poor mentality in community communities.Through further analysis,it can be concluded that these problems are caused by insufficient attention by the government,relatively lagging in system construction,single source of funds,shortage of professional service talents,and the restriction of management mechanism on development.Finally,based on the survey results and the reasons impacting the public satisfaction of urban community cultural construction,this paper proposes the countermeasures and suggestions for improving the urban community cultural construction from the following five aspects: enhancing the degree of attention,standardizing the system,increasing investment,building a professional team,and improving the management mechanism.
