A Study Of Li Rihua’s Literary Theory In Liu Yanzhan Note

Liu Yanzhan Notes is the representative work of Li Rihua,a appreciator,writer and reviewer of late Ming dynasty.Most of the notes is concentrated on the appreciation and creation of poetry,calligraphy and painting,and the rest of it records Li Rihua’s life experience in the past decade.Although the former scholars’ attention focused on the appreciation of poetry,calligraphy and painting,this is just the tip of the iceberg.Reading the notes carefully and you will find something valuable,such as the personality mentality,artistic creation and aesthetic pursuit involved in the notes make immense contribution to the history of literature.Consequently,we analyze the notes from four aspects as blow and try our best to find its value in the history of literature.Chapter one aims to find out the source of Li Rihua’s spirit according to Confucianism,Taoism and Buddhism,and analyze the similarities and differences between the spirit of Li Rihua and late Ming dynasty.Chapter two mainly summarizes the artistic creation theory on the basis of spiritual characteristics mentioned above so as to find the value of Liu Yanzhan Notes in creation theory.Chapter three explores the artistic realms in notes detailedly.On the one hand,it traces the source of aesthetic realms,and on the other hand,it discusses Li Rihua’s new interpretation of the aesthetic realms.Chapter four mainly focuses on the writing characteristics of the free and recorded of the notes,then summarizes the inheritance and development of the essay.On the basis of the summary of the thesis and we look dialectically at Liu Yanzhan Notes.For one thing affirm its value and significance in the history of literature,for another we correct its imprecise research methods involved in the notes.Appendix collates the characters and related matters recorded in Liu Yanzhan Notes.
