Children's literature distinguishes itself from other types of literature for its target readers.Given target readers' cognitive abilities, knowledge backgrounds, mental and intellectual maturity, the style of children's literature features simplicity, fun, and instructiveness.Special attention should be paid to style, which is not only the base, but also the core of literature translation. This paper focuses on the three main stylistic characteristics of children's literature, and summarizes the stylistic strategies applied in Moo: A Novel. The strategies applied in the translation to ensure simplicity include rearranging the sentence structure, dividing long sentences, following Chinese logic, and avoiding sophisticated vocabularies.Rhythm, reduplication, and peculiar typesetting are applied to ensure fun reading experience. To maintain the instructiveness of the literature, vocabulary diversity is reserved, and cultural explanations are added. All above presents how to use style to translate Moo: A Novel.
