High-Normal Blood Pressure(HNBP)(120mmHg?SBP?139 mmHg and/or 80mmHg?DBP?89mmHg)is the transitional stage of hypertension. The detection rate of HNBP of Chinese middle aged people(45-59 years old)is as high as 45.2%.Elevated blood pressure is the leading cause of cardiovascular death,so slowing down the development of HNBP is of great significance for slowing down the progress of cardiovascular disease.Previous studies have found that family history of hypertension,age,high-salt diet, anxiety and the others are related to the formation of HNBP.In addition, hypertension has a significant positive correlation with type A personality and shaoyang and shaoyin personality are related to hypertension by the study of "five-state personality test".However, the existing research on blood pressure and personality is basically the personality survey after the subject has been diagnosed with hypertension, and it is difficult to determine whether there is such a personality basis before the onset of hypertension,so it is difficult to come true the Chinese medicine "preventive treatment of disease" concept.Based on this, this research to study the relationship between HNBP and five-state personality in middle-aged people,so as to provide reference for the prevention of hypertension in middle-aged people.A random sampling method was used to study the middle-aged people(40-60 years old). The methods as follows: gender, age, diet and the other variables were collected with the self-compiled general situation questionnaire.Blood pressure was measured by OMRON HBP-9020 upper arm electronic sphygmomanometer.Height and weight were measured by HGM-800 A body fat scale.Five-state personality was measured by five-state personality test.Depression and anxiety were measured by SDS and SAS.SPSS 23.0 was used for statistical analysis of the data, and descriptive statistics, difference test, correlation analysis and regression analysis were mainly adopted. The results show:1.Subjects in different blood pressure groups had significant differences in age, weight, body mass index,BMI type, diet and taste, alcohol consumption, family history of hypertension and blood pressure medication, but no significant differences in other dimensions.2.Overweight,obesity,high-salt diet and family history of hypertension are risk factors for hypertension and HNBP.3.The taiyang and shaoyang dimensions in the five-state personality of middle-aged people with HNBP and hypertension were significantly higher than those in the normal blood pressure group, and the scores of Yang in the five-state personality of the three groups were significantly higher than those of Yin.4.The SBP of middle-aged people with HNBP is significantly positively correlated with the taiyang and shaoyang, and is significantly negatively correlated with the taiyin. The taiyang, shaoyang and the taiyin can jointly predict the size of the SBP,and the taiyang and shaoyang can be regarded as the susceptible personality traits of HNBP.Due to the limitations of research conditions, this study has certain deficiencies in blood pressure measurement and sample size. The follow-up study can be made up by using 24-hour dynamic blood pressure measurement and increasing sample size.
