Research On Journal Of Hunan From The Perspective Of Reading History

As one of the most important measures in the new period of Hunan Reform,the publication of Hunan Journal is an important symbol of the modernization,openness and democratization of Hunan society,and the process of public acceptance of newspaper reading is also a process of popularization of knowledge dissemination and standardization of public opinion guidance.As the first modern newspaper in Hunan,Hunan Journal has immeasurable political value and influence on Hunan culture and society.This paper takes the reading life of Hunan people as the main line and the readers of Hunan Journal as the main body,so as to find out the reading habits of Hunan people before and after the appearance of newspapers and periodicals in modern times,the way they "meet" with Hunan Journal and the reaction of different strata in the process of reading newspapers and periodicals.At the same time,this paper also analyses the reading communication circle centered on the Journal of Hunan and the speech space beyond the feudal monarchy,thus provingthat newspaper reading,as a new reading mode,plays an effective role in transforming Hunan's native cultural resources and enlightening the social atmosphere.In addition,as the first magazine in Hunan's modern newspaper history,this paper focuses on the analysis of the demonstration role of Hunan Journal in Hunan's local newspaper reading;in the newspaper era,readers around the new interpersonal relationship produced by Hunan Journal,as well as the mentality and reaction of different reader groups in the process of reading.Finally,from the impetus of Hunan Journal to Hunan's public reading,it reflects the realistic influence of newspaper reading on Hunan's local society.
