A Study Of Music Education Of Hunan First Normol University During The Period Of The Republic

Hunan First Normol University(including the following text are referred to as First Normol University) has a long history.It took root in changsha as an academy in 1902.First Normol University has important position in the history of modern education in our country,especially in the history of teacher education,however,there is little research on music and music education.In fact,the provincial division made a lot of contributions to music and music education during the period of the Republic of China.As a required course,music witnessed and promoted the development of the provincial division,which became the focus of this paper.This paper,based on the background of the Republic of China period,The historical materials of music education,including music courses,music teachers and students,music activities and other contents of the provincial first division were sorted out and studied.By comparing the music education of the provincial first division in the Republic of China with the music education of the other two schools at that time,the significance of the provincial first division for music education at that time and now was considered and summarized.This paper will be divided into four parts to discuss.The introduction contains research significance,literature review,research contents and methods.The first chapter introduces the development of hunan normal education from the late qing dynasty to the Republic of China,and then introduces First Normol University's development and educational philosophy.The second chapter mainly introduces First Normol University's music course teaching,music teachers and students,and music activities,by sorting out and summarizing the data collected from various parties,we can find out the context,status and achievements of lee music education buried in it.The third chapter first evaluates the contribution made by First Normol University's music education in the Republic of China,and then compares First Normol University's professional music education with Hunan Provincial Music College's professional music education in the same period,so as to explore First Normol University's professional music education level at that time.Finally,First Normol University's general music education in the Republic of China was compared with the current general music education system,and First Normol University's success in music education was summarized and reflected.
