Abstract/Summary:
This paper based on the concept of generative teaching, classroom activities are a flexible and dynamic language environment.Classroom teaching activities are a complex system composed of teachers, students and the environment.Teachers and students complete teaching activities through mutual influence in the classroom in order to achieve the desired teaching objectives. However, not every classroom effect is expected by teachers, there are always some unexpected situations.Firstly, this paper introduces the definition of non-presupposed events, the causes of occurrence in the classroom, randomness and the types of classifications based on the main factors of classroom teaching activities, and introduces four factors that affect classroom teaching activities with specific examples. Then, combined with specific examples of classroom activities, the possibility of transforming non-presupposed events into classroom activities is analyzed and discussed, and the conditions of transforming resources are analyzed from class preparation, classroom response and after-class reflection. Finally, combined with the interview process, when facing unexpected incidents, teachers use teaching tact to adopt coping strategies, mainly "seeking truth from facts","ignoring strategy","taking advantage of circumstances" and so on.Through the conversion of strategies,non-presupposed events can be transformed into generative resources for teaching, thus improving the ability of Chinese teachers to deal with non-presupposed events,on-the-spot adaptability and the ability to transform nonpresupposed events into teaching resources. In the cumulative process, teachers’ teaching tact can also be better developed and exercised.Of course, coping strategies do not exist in isolation, but in coordination with each other.Specific strategies should be combined with the actual situation in the classroom.
