Textbooks have a very important position in English teaching.Choosing the right textbook is an important guarantee for teachers to complete teaching content and achieve teaching goals.High-quality,high-level textbooks play a very important role in primary school English teaching.In recent years,both foreign language teaching theories and foreign language teaching practices have made great progress both at home and abroad.The primary school English textbooks show a situation of blooming.The primary school "English" textbook(Hunan Edition)is written under the guidance of the new curriculum standards.The analysis and research of this set of textbooks is conducive to the use of textbooks by English teachers in the teaching process to improve teaching efficiency.It is helpful for textbook researchers to understand the advantages and disadvantages of the textbook,so as to better carry out textbook research.The research of textbooks should be analyzed on the basis of the analysis and evaluation theory of textbooks at home and abroad.It must meet the requirements of the new curriculum standards and conform to the laws of primary school students' language learning.This article takes the primary school "English" textbook(Hunan Edition)as the research object,analyzes whether the textual arrangement of the textbook is carried out under the guidance of the new curriculum standards,understands the advantages and disadvantages of the set of textbooks,and thus the revision of the first-line English teachers and textbooks.Provide effectiveadvice and references.This paper uses the literature method to collect and organize information,analyzes and studies the text content of textbooks by content analysis method,collects and feedbacks through questionnaire survey and interview method,and forms the final conclusion of this paper,and the textbook The advantages and disadvantages of the classification are classified and the corresponding opinions and suggestions are put forward.There are five chapters in the article.The introduction is about the reasons of choosing the topic,the significance,concept definition,literature review,research ideas and research methods.The second chapter is the basis of analysis,mainly expounding the characteristics of primary school students' speech,the characteristics of English learning and the principles of writing English textbooks.The third chapter is the main part of the thesis.The author analyzes and studies the text content and investigation results of the English textbook(Hunan edition)of the primary school.The fourth chapter is the conclusions and suggestions of the study.It mainly summarizes the research of this thesis,and puts forward effective suggestions for the revision of primary school English textbooks and English teachers.Finally,the shortcomings of this thesis are explained.
