How to understand the message conveyed by the speaker? How to popularize the advanced environmental technology in Europe to our country successfully? How to explain the environmental protection contributions that our country has made to the experts? At the same time,bilingual translation should be carried out to overcome the noise on the scene.All of these require professional qualities,reasonable expressions,flexible application of theoretical skills and good psychological ability for interpreters.The author chooses speaker's speech of this cooperation forum as the translation practice material to make the simulation practice of bilingual consecutive interpretation between Chinese and English.This report analyses author's performance from the following four aspects: the brief introduction of interpretation practice,the process of interpretation practice,the analysis of interpretation cases and the summary of interpretation practice.Through this simulation practice of bilingual consecutive interpreting between Chinese and English,the author has promoted practical ability of consecutive interpreting,improved the flexible application of interpretation theory and skills,gained a certain understanding of professional knowledge in the field of environmental protection,increased the environmental protection knowledge reserve.At the same time,the author had a better understanding of shortcomings in bilingual consecutive interpreting between Chinese and English.In addition,the author hopes that through this practice,it will be helpful and instructive for those who are concerned about the development of environmental protection industry in China and the new trends of international environmental technology as well as interpreting learners in their usual practice of consecutive interpretation training. |
