The Translation Of Business Books Under The Guidance Of Skopos Theory

As an important practical style,business books have its own characteristics in both vocabulary and sentences,which requires translators to master the textual features of business books and be familiar with the corresponding translation principles and strategies.The translation materials for this report come from the Strategic Production Innovation of DPI.Drawing on a large number of examples from different companies,this book presents insights from the fields of economics,decision science and common sense in a simple but thought-provoking way.It is not only professional but also story-telling and logical.Therefore,from the perspective of Skopos theory,this paper will analyze the text,and provide some references for translators to translate such texts,and enhance professional ethics and improve the quality of translation.The author combines the translation characteristics of business books,takes skopos theory as the guide,follows three general rules,namely skopos rule,coherence rule and fidelity rule,flexibly chooses the translation method and strategy,conveys the original information,and achieves the intended purpose.The author hopes that this paper can help translators better translate business texts and provide some references for business English translation studies.
