| In traditional English vocabulary teaching in secondary vocational schools,teachers always play a central role.They spend much time reading words,explaining words and dictating words.While students are busy reading after teachers,taking notes and memory words.Thus such a teaching mode ignores students’ practice,participation,cooperation and communication.Teachers and students seldom have interactions with each other.In Secondary Vocational Schools,most students have poor knowledge of English and are lake of initiative in learning.So the cooperative learning is a good way to change the situation.Cooperative learning is an effective teaching mode and is different from the traditional teaching.It takes students as the main part,teachers as the leading part and groups as the basic learning units.In a cooperative learning class,the responsibilities are partitioned clearly to each group and each member of the group has a learning task.Students are required to supervise each other in the group and compete with each other and take up their responsibilities.In this way,learning goals can be completed successfully.So cooperative learning is an effective way to change the study situation and enable more and more students to learn quickly in the class.Through various teachers encourage students to exchange their points of views and jointly complete teaching goals.The implementation of cooperative learning can enhance students’enthusiasm,initiative and creativity in English learning and stimulate their interest in learning,improve learning efficiency and optimize learning patterns.In once experimental research,first,the action studies are based on the form of observation in class and interview.The purpose of the study is to enhance English Vocabulary teaching in Secondary Vocational Schools.The result of the research shows that cooperative learning can improve the study atmosphere in the class,change the study attitude and increase the cooperation among students.The author starts the research by designing the distributing questionnaires and the analyses the obtained experiment data by SPSS and Excel.The result shows that students are happy with group cooperative learning.They get the excellent study result and have more confidence and learning efficiency.So cooperative learning is a good way for English vocabulary teaching in secondary vocational schools. |
