Mode of the Multilevel Proficiency-based Mobile Class first appeared in the foreign teaching and educational system.In recent years,under the background of the implementation of quality education from all walks of life in our society,relevant government agencies and educational functional departments have also issued policy documents closely related to this mode.The mode is essentially an organic combination of the mode.It is a reform of the traditional teaching system and mode in China,and also an important attempt and exploration.It follows the principle of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude,and conforms to the relevant theories of pedagogy.The study of the mode has also been paid close attention by the academic circles,which has high research value.How is the learning mode introduced from abroad going in China?Is it compatible with China’s education mode and teaching system?What problems may exist in the mode itself?How to solve the related problems?All these have triggered extensive thinking and in-depth discussion among scholars.Based on this,this paper takes the middle Junior Middle School of Z school in Guangdong Province as the research object,and on the basis of comprehensive use of questionnaire survey,interview,statistical analysis and empirical analysis.This paper investigates and studies the practice of the mode in English teaching in our school and its impact on English teaching.The conclusion of this study shows that the adoption of such teaching method has positive effects on students’ English achievement.This conclusion is generally applicable in different levels of classes,but there are some differences in the degree of promotion in different levels of classes.The differences between classes within the same level will affect the relationship between the mode and students’ English achievement.In addition,this paper also analyzed the existing problems in the implementation such teaching mode,and tried to put forward some targeted solutions.Firstly,teachers need to improve their teaching skills and teaching methods.We should teach students in accordance with their aptitude,and truly provide the most suitable and efficient teaching lethods for students at different levels.Secondly,according to the actual situation of the school,the school can independently decide the scope of the implementation of the mode,the starling grade,the class size of different classes,and design a relatively reasonable frequency of class adjustment.Thirdly,in the initial stage of stratification,we should fully listen to students’ personal wishes,pay attention to coordination and communication with parents,clarify the basis of stratification and implement the stratification mechanism,so as to avoid problems caused by information asymmetry.Fourthly,in the process of teaching,we should respect the objective law and improve the teaching pertinence of the mode.Finally,in the teaching evaluation,we try to change the existing teaching evaluation system under the mode.On the one hand,scientific and effective evaluation criteria should be established,and evaluation should be carried out in a longer period of time instead of subjective evaluation based on one-time results.On the other hand,attention should be paid to giving full play to the incentive function and incentive mechanism of teaching evaluation system.
