With the enhancement of China's national strength and the continuous improvement of its international status and influence,the number of international students in China has continuously increased.In the second language teaching,there has been a lot of controversy about the use of media.In recent years,the use of media language in teaching Chinese as a foreign language has also attracted much attention.Questionnaires and interviews were conducted among students,teachers and teachers of the junior,middle and advanced classes of four universities,including Northwest Normal University,Lanzhou Jiaotong University,Gansu University of Political Science and Law,and Lanzhou University of Technology,and combined with classroom observations to conduct multi-national mixed classes for Chinese as a foreign language.The relevant issues of the rational use of medium language provide their own views and suggestions,and provide theoretical and practical assistance to the problems related to the use of media in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language in Lanzhou.First of all,the elementary Chinese language learning class requires media language.Using media language can improve students' learning efficiency,help students to quickly understand the meaning of words,and reduce the emotional filtering of students to a certain extent,cultivate students' interest in Chinese learning,and establish students' Self-confidence.And when students have difficulty understanding or understanding Chinese,the use of medium language can also help students to accurately understand their meaning.Because Lanzhou is located inland,compared with the coastal areas or some economically developed areas,the economy is relatively backward,so most of the international students are from Central Asia.Lanzhou colleges and universities should take into account the national factors of students when they are assigned to foreign students.Try to divide the Central Asian students with average English proficiency into the same class,and classify other students with relatively good English proficiency in the same class.Therefore,when the teacher uses English as a medium to explain in the classroom,the students who are very good at English understand very quickly,and the teacher ignores the situation that other students with poor English proficiency understand.In a class with a good English proficiency,when explaining some words or knowledge points,the teacher can use the medium language to explain more smoothly and with less care,while ensuring reasonableness.Secondly,teachers must pay attention to the reasonable control of the use of medium language when teaching with media language.It should not be used too much,so as not to hinder the students' perception of Chinese language,Chinese language sense and the development of listening and speaking ability,and use the medium.The language must be chosen appropriately,otherwise there will be cases where the use of the medium language still explains the meaning of the words,and even makes the students misunderstand the meaning of the words.Only when the media language has a single interpretation or multiple interpretations that are very close to each other and will not allow the learner to produce a second understanding,can use the medium language to interpret the Chinese words,and avoid misleading and need to contact a large number of example sentences.Finally,the teacher needs to adjust the use of the medium language in time according to the changes in the student's Chinese proficiency.With the continuous improvement of students' Chinese proficiency,students should gradually reduce the use of medium language after they have accumulated certain Chinese vocabulary and Chinese expression,and strive to create a good Chinese learning environment for students,and constantly provide students with"understandable input." ".Middle and advanced classes do not use medium language for teaching,and can also achieve good teaching results.
