Integrated Chinese is the most popular book in American middle school and university, but in this book there are so many translation problems. Based on American students in the primary stage who study Chinese as the second language and my experience during the internship in American as a research background and according to the previous research results, this paper put forward the problems in teaching Chinese as a second language by using English as the medium language in class, and analyzes the translation problems in and media language problems in practical class teaching.There are big differences on whether or not to use the media language in the primary stage, and they have a big controversy. While this paper compromise this two different opinions, and put the media language as the most important part for the beginners. This paper is mainly from my internships in the United States, and puts forwards Based on this, this paper advances the necessity of the media language which should be used in the primary stage and further analysis the problems of media language in practical teaching. The translation problems are also obvious and prominent in Integrated Chinese. So on the basis of this book, this article analysis the translation problems. On the basis of that it sums up the theoretical and practical significance of media language studies.There are so many translation problems in The integrated Chinese such as the phonetic problems, lexical translation problems, Chinese English grammatical differences problem, Chinese English cultural meaning problems, contextual understanding problems and semantic change problems. These problems are obvious and prominent in the book so specific examples can be more clearly. Based on these problems this paper put forward the specific problems of the medium English as a language the actual teaching class and points out the teaching principle and methods to solve these problems, respectively, by adopting the combination of Chinese characters, words, morpheme teaching method, combining literal translation and transliteration, combined with the context, pay attention to periodic teaching and enrich the teaching methods.Finally makes the conclusion that the research is a medium of language as a way and heavy long-term career, which needs the joint efforts of everyone and progress.
