In 1888,based on the enactment of the artisan ordinance,"artisan" was formally adopted as the Japanese noun of design.With the development of the export trade policy,the drawing drawing drawing drawing at the same time is gradually regarded as a design and widely used.At the end of world war ii,jacquard and pattern become the past type,the design of Japanese mark whatever change to "? ? ? ?"(design).Today,all three exist at the same time but the context and direction of their use have changed.Language is the extension of thought,and the change of word use is also the process of thought change.This paper focuses on the changes in vocabulary as the breakthrough point,combed the design vocabulary from jacquard pattern change to design during the period of the development of Japanese design,combining with the development of western design and design problems of cross discussion at that time,to show in the design of the conceptual differences between east and west and the different design idea,can prove each other experience for reference,but not as a rule or some established standards to believe in.At the same time,the author questions the standard and the standard itself,and discusses the starting point of the design.
