Narrative And Lyric-A Study Of ShenZhou "Farewell Painting"

"Farewell painting" is a special cultural phenomenon in the history of Chinese art,which came into complete form in Song Dynasty.This paper will firstly analyze the source of "farewell painting" on the basis of;’the uniform of poem and painting",taking of Shen Zhou’s farewell painting as a primary example,which belongs to Wu faction.Secondly this paper analyzes the reasons for the prosperity of the "farewell painting" in the Ming dynasty from the political,economic and social psychological perspective.Thirdly this paper discusses specific works to illustrate the developing impetus of Shen Zhou’s "farewell painting" from the.linjiang farewell painting" to the poetic painting.Finally this paper concludes that the flourishing development of shen zhou’s "farewell painting"s pattern in the Ming dynasty is the result of the joint development of the inner aesthetics of "literati painting" and the litterati’s psychological appeal.Shen zhou’s "farewell painting" had a profound influence on the later generation of wu men’s school and the creation of"farewell painting",in the late Ming dynasty.
