With the introduction of the "humanistic" educational concept and the promotion of compulsory education,teachers have gradually paid attention to the group of students with learning difficulties.The characteristics of primary and secondary school students’ psychological and cognitive development determine the possibility of large-scale transformation of poor English learners in primary schools.In recent years,domestic researchers have conducted theoretical and experimental research on the transformation of students with learning difficulties.However,most subjects are high school or college students,and little research has been done on students with primary school difficulties.This article adopts action research method to carry out an in-depth study on the impact of primary school English teaching method on primary school students’ English learning interest.Combine the improvement of learning effects with the translation of students with learning difficulties in primary schools,and conduct a semester research on the transformation of students with learning difficulties.The subject English teaching method can be said to be derived from the situational teaching method to a certain extent.It is based on the idea of ?task-based teaching method,which enables students to recognize and understand the subject teaching,so as to achieve the teaching goals.Later,the author conducted a theme-based English teaching experiment on some of the students I taught.The experiment proved that theme-based English teaching has a positive effect on improving the learning attitude and learning interest of students with primary English learning difficulties.The action research I talked about is divided into two parts: the first round ofaction research,and the second round of action research.The first round of action research was based on the first four units of Oxford English 5A.Each unit of research has its own clear goals,the determination of the theme of the activity and the group cooperation,language learning in the context of life,personal summary and English writing test ability development.At the end of the second round of action research,after the mid-term exam,the teacher targeted the students with low class scores to conduct interviews with the mid-term exam situation.The interview content is based on changes in learning styles,changes in student learning experiences and learning outcomes.The results and discussion are part of the evaluation,reflection of this action research,and this article was written.After evaluating and reflecting on the data analysis after the action study,the conclusion was drawn:1.This article has seriously carried out an action research plan,which has effectively increased the interest of students in learning English,thereby improving the effect of English learning.Students are also very willing to take a more effective and fun way to learn English and be brave.To various difficulties encountered in life or study.Therefore,the majority of front-line teachers must find out the problems existing in their teaching in a timely manner in the usual teaching process,and find a solution in a timely manner.Apply it to teaching to improve the learning effect of students.2.There are some aspects of the reasons why there are "students with poor learning" in primary school English: one is subjective reasons,students’ bad learning habits and learning methods,weak learning motivation,and interest in learning;etc.Second,for objective reasons,there are problems with the teacher’s teaching methods,and the teacher-student relationship is not harmonious.Of course,there are also some influences from the family,such as the harmonious relationship between the family members,and the parents’ educational concepts are biased.3.How to design an effective action plan,we should follow the rules of the subject English teaching method and focus on six aspects,namely:(1)clear goals(2)determination of the theme of activities(3)group cooperation(4)living environment language learning in learning(5)personal summary and assessment(6)cultivation of English written test ability.4.This study analyzes the timeliness of the thematic English teaching method.The thematic English teaching method can effectively improve the students’ ability to use the language effectively,so that students can communicate through English and see themselves progress and growth in learning.Through experiments,the author has a relatively comprehensive understanding of the subject English teaching method,but the operation method and evaluation are not mature enough,it is more one-sided and needs to be enriched.In future practice,the author will continue to explore and reflect,constantly inject new theoretical knowledge into the theme English education method,and establish a new teaching system and method. |
