Sculpture is one of the most ancient art of human civilization,as early as the Stone Age,the human ancestors in a living learn to build all kinds of labor tools of stone,with the progress and development of human beings,these tools gradually evolved into the sculpture of the aesthetic value.Then,people at different times in different ways to stay a lot of sculpture,the sculpture with its own unique style and artistic image,record the different period of human history,they effectively compensate for some of the words difficult to record and describe things,for the later generations back past history provides a good medium.Sculpture is the art of 3 d space,it not only can record the life,in the form of narrative can also will be materialized artist inner emotions,which reflects the artist thoughts to express words and themes.When the sculptor is making the creation,he must go deep into the society,feel the life,and be true to his inner true feelings,so as to endow his work with strong vitality.This article embarks from the "emotional" aspect,the expression of emotion involved in the development process of sculpture in-depth research,this article will sculptures dating back to the earliest primitive human emotional expression in clay,by reviewing historically the artist in the sculpture to emotional expression,analysis of the emotional expression changes,thus it is concluded that the relationship between the emotional expression and sculpture creation,then starting from the author’s own creative practice,this paper discusses the emotional expression of characteristic and importance in the sculpture is created of.The innovation of this paper is to analyze the expression and function of emotion expression in the development of contemporary sculpture based on its own practice.
