Separable Words only exist in Chinese,which is always important in research of both Chinese and Teaching Chinese as Foreign Language,and has always been difficult for second language learners.Taking 23 Verb-object Separable Words as the main research object,this paper makes a statistics on the acquisition errors of Verb-object Separable Words to the students in Mandalay University of Foreign Languages,summarizes the types of Verb-object Separable Words acquisition errors by Myanmar students,analyzes the causes of acquisition errors,and according to the reasons for errors puts forward some suggestions,all of which is for better teaching Chinese in Myanmar.Through the data collation of teachers' questionnaire and students'questionnaire this paper knows the teacher configuration of the Chinese department,the teacher's educational background,the students' learning attitude,learning motivation and learning strategies and other aspects in Mandalay University of Foreign Languages.In order to understand the degree of students' mastery of the different separation forms of Separable Words,in the survey the students were tested with four segregation forms of Separable Words as the test contents,based on this,the paper sums up the type of error of the Separable Words of Myanmar students,which is the insertion of complement,the insertion of attribute,the insertion of auxiliary word,overlapping the previous morpheme and the latter morpheme in advance.There are five reasons affecting the acquisition of Separable Words,that is the influence of Myanmar language,the overgeneralization of Chinese language,teachers,teaching materials and learner's personal factors.On this basis,the paper puts forward the more targeted teaching suggestions.
