Research On The Wu Yubi’s Poetry

Wu Yubi not only made great achievements in his thoughts on science,but his poetry creation also made great achievements.Based on the background and cultural environment of Wu Yubi,this thesis comprehensively sorts out the poetry according to the life experience of the poet,and analyzes its poetry content and artistic features.This paper consists of three chapters.The first chapter narrates Wu Yubi’s life experience,creation,thought and intercourse.Wu Yubi’s life has gone through several stages,such as growing up and studying,returning to his hometown to give lectures,cultivating disciples,refusing to become an official and living in his later years.His poems are collected in the Poetry anthology of Kangzhai.by studying it,the content of Wu Yubi’s neo-confucianism thoughts is clarified.At last,the author analyzes the social intercourse of Wu Yubi,and further understands his living condition and his important influence on the literary history of Ming dynasty.The second chapter combing and concluding Wu’s poems according to the theme.Wu Yubi has many poems,which can be roughly divided into four categories according to their themes: philosophical poems,idyllic poems,farewell poems,and reflections poems.The poems show Wu’s real life,his comprehension of philosophical principles,his love for nature,his yearning for his friends,and his helplessness for the passing of time and his attitude towards life.Whether it is reasoning,depiction of scenery,or narrative,lyricism,it incorporates the unique feelings of the poet.The third chapter comprehensively and deeply analyzes the artisticcharacteristics of Wu Yubi’s poetry.Wu Yubi’s poetry is calm and elegant,quiet and bleak,and the language is simple and natural,simple and clear.Many of these poems contain profound philosophies,which is interesting but full of charm,and rarely has the disadvantages of boring.In the history of the development of science poetry,his poetry should occupy an important position.
