Nowadays,The modern information technology have developed rapidly and the new mobile Internet devices(smartphones,tablets,etc.)have popularized,new-medie such as WeChat and Micro-blog in China have become an indispensable social tools in people’s life.Can these social App provide support for Chinese-learners to conduct informal learning under the network environment? Can Chinese-learners learn Chinese culture knowledge in fragmentary time as an assistant tool for Chinese culture after-class teaching ? Based on these thoughts,the author takes the second language acquisition theory,the theory of teaching language by Internet and the theory of blended-learning as the guidance,combining my teaching experience and observation from teaching process.This paper reviews and collates the research results of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and the application of network media in this field,explains and compare the new media learning tools.At the same time,analyzed,discussed and practiced the feasibility and specific ways of WeChat in teaching Chinese as a foreign language culture,evaluated the effect of teaching experiment by the way of testing and interviewing.Through two months teaching experiment,getting the following conclusions : WeChat can be used as an auxiliary tools to help teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Reasons are as followings: Firstly,the after-test scores are higher than pre-test scores in generally after students studied in WeChat.Secondly,students said that they’re willing to continue to study Chinese culture through WeChat in the questionnaire and private interviews.Then put forward corresponding countermeasures: Firstly,improving the supervision.Secondly,pay for the time that teacher spending on it.Thirdly,refering to textbook.Lastly,choosing reasonable cultural content.
