The Study Of Multicultural Integration Of The Dali Bai's Benzhu Worship

Benzhu worship of Bai ethnic is a unique ethnic religion developed on the basis of the original religion of the Bai people by continuously absorbing foreign cultures dominated by Buddhism,Taoism and Confucianism.It is a complex of multicultural integration which has a profound influence on all aspects of society.With the development of modernization and globalization,Benzhu worship continues to exist and develop.By analyzing the main content of the fusion of Benzhu worship,Buddhism,Taoism and Confucianism and the functions of its integration,exploring the laws of it,it will provide reference for those ethnic minority religions facing the crisis of survival or dying about how to develop and face the impact of foreign culture,not to be swallowed up by other cultures and to form their own national religious and cultural characteristics.The research in this paper is mainly explained from four parts.The first part mainly uses the principle of religious science which consisting of four elements of religion to expound the general situation of Benzhu worship.Secondly,it analyzes the reasons for the diversity of Benzhu worship culture from the aspects of geographical environment and social factors,and expounds the main features of multicultural integration of it.The second part disentngles the main content of multicultural integration in Benzhu worship,and analyzes and discusses the various aspects of the fusion of Buddhism,Taoism,Confucianism and Benzhu Worship,revealing the reality between Benzhu worship and the foreign culture concerning gods,integration of thoughts and organizational rituals etc.On this basis,the unified relationship between Benzhu worship and the Buddhism and Taoism culture is interconnected and promoted.The third part elaborates the main functions of multicultural integration in Benzhu worship,expounding the positive role played by the integration of foreign cultures,Buddhism,Confucianism and national religion from the perspective of religious gods,organization and ideas,so as to know the influence of the foreign culture on Benzhu worship and the Bai society,that is,the expansion of the religious expressions of the Benzhu worship and the enrichment of the ideological content system.The fourth part explores the development law of Benzhu worship,and rediscovers its value: on the basis of the traditional culture of the nation,to open,inclusive and absorb the essence of foreign culture;to conform to the development trend of the society;to protect andinherit the religious culture of ethnic minorities,expecting to bring certain enlightenment to the development of religions of other ethnic minorities.
