The Research Of Hulunbuir Placenames

Geographic names are the exclusive names given to geographical entities with specific orientations and geographical scopes.The study of geographical names in China has a long history and rich research results.However,there are few studies on geographical names in Inner Mongolia,and comparative studies on their cultural and linguistic features.There is also a lack of research on geographical names in multi-ethnic communities,located in the northeastern of China,is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.At the same time,it is a typical multi-ethnic area.Due to historical changes and multi-ethnic culture,ethnic minority languages have many geographical names and are very distinctive.Based on the administrative divisions of the latest statistics of the National Bureau of Statistics,and based on the results of field visits,a total of 1452 names of Hulunbuir were collected.This paper mainly refers to the 1452 geographical names as research objects.Through the examination of the geographical names and yearbooks of the region and the field investigations,from the perspective of linguistics,the systematic analysis of the names of Hulunbuir is carried out systematically and revealed from different aspects.The connection between the geographic names of Hulunbuir and the social culture of the area.This article,including the introduction and conclusion,is divided into five parts.The introduction part mainly introduces the geographical generalization and historical evolution of Hulunbuir,analyzes the research status and research significance of the names of Hulunbuir,and introduces the sources and methods of this paper.In the first chapter,from the perspective of linguistics,the names of Hulunbuir are classified into Chinese geographic names,Mongolian Geographic names and other minority geographic names according to language.Chinese geographic names were summarized and analyzed from structure,word analysis,syllable structure and word formation.The use of word analysis,structural analysis and word formation analysis of Mongolian geographic names with their own national characters.An overview and analysis of other minority names without their own national characters was made.The second chapter introduces the relationship between the geographical names of Hulunbuir and geography and culture,and summarizes and cites the names of places named after mountainous landforms,river hydrology and material resources.According to the classification of different ethnic groups,the third chapter analyzes the unique production and life styles of many ethnic groups in Hulunbuir area,and analyzes the influence of national production and life on the geographicalnames of their own people.From the perspective of cultural connotation,the fourth chapter analyzes the relationship between the geographic names of Hulunbuir and local religious beliefs,clan concepts,orientation psychology,historical stories and myths and legends,the people's Qiji psychology and the culture of the times.The fifth chapter is the problem of standardization of some geographical names discovered after the summary of the names of Hulunbuir,and puts forward reasonable suggestions.The conclusion part summarizes the characteristics of the geographic names in Hulunbuir,sorts out the full text and points out the innovations and deficiencies of this paper.
