China has a vast territory,each race has its own unique local culture,and each city has its own customs,historical sediments and local characteristics.However,for most county towns,due to geographical,traffic and other factors,the level of economic development is relatively slow,their cultural background is easily overlooked.The development of local specialty products is not enough,because of lack of packaging marketing,in some local specialty products.Today,with the rapid development of the economy,how can county towns fully demonstrate their cultural characteristics,how to develop the value of local specialty products,how to create local product brands with local characteristics and push them to the whole country and the world,this is the theme of this paper.Gutian County is a county town in the northeastern part of Fujian Province.It is a traditional agricultural county and is known as the capital of edible fungi.The most famous international fame is the Gutian Tremella,which is a symbol of Chinese national geographical indication products and accounts for more than 90%of the national total.Although the output of Gutian edible fungus is high,it lacks aesthetics and creativity in the packaging design of the product.It is relatively fallen behind in the mode of promoting the marketing of edible fungi products.At the same time,it lacks relevant derivative cultural and creative products,which leads to suboptimal reflection of its local characteristics and product value.This paper analyzes the packaging design of local specialty products,with an example of the packaging design of the Gutian edible fungus brand Fanchu,to analyze and explain the individual design ideas and creative ideas,on the road to the development of special products.Some personal opinions and glimpses on how to better promote local local products and how to enhance the brand value of local products with local characteristics are also shared.In this paper,in order to make the designed works have applicability,aesthetics and continuity,after many investigations and repeated adjustments and modifications,the packaging design of the Gutian Fanchu brand series products and the derivative cultural ideas were finally designed.
