The Development Of The Questionnaire On Mental Service Needs Of The Elderly

With the development of society,the demands of the elderly for a healthy life are getting higher and higher,especially the 19 th national Congress emphasizes to strengthen the construction of the social psychological service system.Therefore,it is an important task for Chinese psychological workers to deal with the needs of the elderly.The demand for psychological services for the elderly refers to a lack of state caused by the imbalance between the current level of mental health and the desired level of mental health in the course of development.The elderly people are willing to accept psychological services and hope to improve themselves through psychological services,so as to achieve a harmonious development of the body and mind.However,there is little research on the psychological service needs of the elderly in China,and there is also a lack of scientific measuring tools.This study is to prepare a scientific and effective questionnaire on the psychological service needs of the elderly in order to explore the actual needs and influencing factors of mental service for the elderly in China.This article is divided into three parts,the first part is a literature review of the demand for psychological services at home and abroad,and introduces the current situation and significance of the research.The second part consists of two studies,the purpose of which is to prepare a scientific and effective questionnaire on mental service needs of the elderly.The second study is to explore the practical needs of the elderly for psychological services and the factors affecting the needs of the elderly psychological services.The third part is the limitation and prospect of research conclusion and research.Through the collation and analysis of the literature,as well as group discussions and expert suggestions,the basic theoretical structure of the psychological service needs of theelderly has been constructed.According to the survey,a preliminary survey questionnaire,which is basically in line with the theory concept,was prepared and investigated.After analyzing the results of the initial survey,the screening results formed a formal questionnaire for the psychological service needs of the elderly,and a survey was conducted on 311 elderly people.The formal questionnaire was examined by a messenger.The following conclusions are drawn:(1)There are five dimensions of the questionnaire for psychological services for the elderly,it is psychological service demand attitude,psychological service content demand,psychological service organization demand,psychological service mode demand,the service demand of increasing power.(2)The questionnaire on mental service needs of the elderly is well developed and can be used as a measuring tool for the study of mental service needs of the elderly.(3)The elderly want psychological services in such areas as psychological distress,loneliness,interpersonal relationships and anxiety about their physical condition.Hope to carry out the mode of psychological services from high to low for psychological measurement,psychological health talks,psychological counseling,psychological doctors.(4)There are significant differences in the demand for mental services for the elderly in terms of age,cultural level,marital status,health status,place of residence,residence,major economic sources and number of children.(5)Young and old people(60 to 74 years of age)are in high demand for empowerment and should be helped to increase power in psychological services.
